  4. One of my favorite graphic novels. It's so awesome. I love how the story started when Emily's dad died. It was sad in the part, then it got exciting. It's always cool when a sad thing happens and then you figure out one of your family member is a superhero or something else. Which in the story Emily's grandfather was about to past out, but before he did he made Emily the stone-keeper. I just love how the little stories of bad guys come in and try to kill the stone-keeper, and after lose in the fight.I didn't think I would like this book when my friends told me to read it. Even when I was reading the first part I wanted to stop reading it,i didn't think it was interesting.I thought Emily was going to use some kind of magic to bring his dad's life back but it didn't happen. That's what got me reading it.When I finished the story I was like "Wow, I love that book"! I didn't think I already finished it. I was so into this book I wasn't paying attention on where I was and the time.
I totally was looking forward for the second book.I would always ask people if they read this book or not. If there was a young readers graphic novel choice awards I would say Amulet would win.i give it a 4.9 out of 5. I love the book, I just didn't like the dying part.

  5. I think this book is amazing. From the cover, you may think it's about some silly thing that includes a bunny. WRONG. This is kind of like "Bone," but it's more adventurous and dangerous. I loved the expression on the bunny's face when he figures out he brought the wrong antidote. He's just like "D:" when he finds out. It's hilarious. It also made me depressed. And a bit grossed out....
This is definitely a 4.5 out of 5. Minus .5 for the sadness and grossness...
I recommend this book to those who are SPONTANEOUS!

  6. I loved Amulet. If I were to rate it out of 10, I would give it a 9 because, I think that it was a little dull in parts and it was a bit mature for a book that was aimed at grade 4 to 6 students. And as a lot of people are saying, it is one of my favourite graphic novels.

  7. "Amulet: The Stonekeeper" is an amazing graphic novel with a creative and fascinating plot along with beautifully drawn and colored pictures. This book includes the use of magic, disgusting creatures/monsters, some fatalities, and lots of adventure, fighting, and escapes. I just loved the book and might read the entire series. I’ll rate it 9.5 out of 10.

  8. Amulet was a great graphic novel which involves some magical creatures. Before I read it, I thought that it might be boring. However, you can’t judge a book by its cover. Though at the first chapter, it was a little boring. After that it was just action after action. It was full of mystery and suspense. I read the book the first time in one day. After it was over I thought NnnOoo! The book ends in a cliff hanger. I liked the book so much that I read it 3 more times in 2 days. I read the rest of the series too. I would rate this book 10 out of 10. I recommend this book for everyone.
